Episode two of Lizard Cops is now out, complete with my own musical contributions! Enjoy, and by all means, share your thoughts!
It appears that, despite the attention for me is starting to increase on many sites, I still have extremely lacking statistics on YouTube, which is arguably the most popular website to listen to music despite being meant for videos. I've looked into ways to get more views, and one method is to upload lots of videos regularly. Therefore, I hope to get around to uploading videos of my music on a regular basis, hopefully once a week. I'll also be doing a better job of informing people of my videos, such as by using this blog (effectively making more attention here as well), and possibly resuming my mailing list emails. Will likely start this routine, to an extent, with showing my video for "Eclipse" here. Thank you for reading.
Managed to sell my Roland JV-2080 at last in favor of my XV-3080. Still not fond of the problematic SmartMedia card feature of the XV, but at least there's MIDI dumps.
Also, in light of when this blog was posted, Happy Thanksgiving to those who live in the US! Sadly, family plans over this holiday are preventing me from being productive for the week, but I will resume as soon as I can. Thank you for reading. This question has been bugging me for a bit the past few days. As many of you know, I am fairly active on SoundCloud, but I'm thinking of switching over to YouTube despite all of the bad changes on the site recently.
Pros for YouTube: More well-known than SoundCloud Ability to make money off of streams (even if through ad revenue) Unlimited upload capacity, whereas SoundCloud only permits this with premium users Pros for SoundCloud: Meant for music Images and video (which are not my forte) are only optional Easier to find others' work through groups and playlists Anyone who reads this, feel free to give your own thoughts which I should pick, or even if I should keep using both. The animatic for the pilot episode is now available to watch on YouTube. This is a cartoon best suited for older audiences, similar to Invader Zim. For those who don't understand Portuguese, rest assured, there are English subtitles this time around.
Watching the animatic would be deeply appreciated by Camila Alli Chair, its creator, as well as myself. Finally got around to this like I promised. That being said, here is an overview of a JV/XP/XV expansion card that was a collaboration between Roland and Spectrasonics, which, perhaps not coincidentally, was founded by former Roland sound designer Eric Persing.
...due mostly to personal matters. I also apologize for the delay in putting a review up for another synth like I promised. The reason there has been a delay for this is also that I wish to make a corresponding video for my review, an effort that will take quite a bit of time for the audio recordings alone.
In lighter news, as I just posted on Facebook, Cyborg comes out a week from today. Click here if you wish to listen and preorder! It's half off until the album is officially released. There are also two bonus tracks included, only available if you choose to get the entire album. These two tracks will also only be available on Bandcamp and a possible CD edition: they will not appear on other music stores if I choose to distribute the album to them. Thank you all for reading, and I hope you all enjoy what you hear of Cyborg! I had recently purchased a Roland XV3080, and now, I've finally gotten around to selling my JV2080, which the XV3080 is meant to replace. Here is the eBay listing. In other news, I also received word that Lizard Cops episode 2 is nearing completion as well! Here is episode one, those of you unfamiliar with it. Note that this episode was made before my involvement.
