First of all, I'm sure many of you are wondering where my big projects are by now. Honestly, part of the reason for the slow activity is because of feeling a bit drained of ideas, especially original ones, until recently.
Fortunately, I can officially say I do have big projects in progress now!
One of these projects is unofficial for now, so I'm hesitant to disclose much about it immediately.
Another is a different direction for me in some ways: I've been contributing a few sound effects for the Scythe Dev Team. Those of you unfamiliar with the name, the game development team was responsible for the successful Northbury Grove, and since then, I've been brought onto the team to assist with sound design. It's also a chance to see old friends again, as three of us also have ties to the synthwave scene, and one I even met in person (see the SynthScape blog post from a few years back).
The third is a new game by Luminy Studios. Fortunately, this project was announced shortly before I was hired, so I can provide a link to the page for it:
https://luminystudios.com/delusion.html
Needless to say, it's safe to assume I'm not dead yet! I'll try my hardest to keep people updated about the projects insofar as what I can publish, though don't expect a lot until they're all out.
In the meantime, I will try to find the time to write another sample library review in the near future. Stay tuned!
