Well, in light of getting asked to write more music for it, I wish to spend some time to elaborate on one of my projects so far.
If there's one thing I've learned about being involved with soundtracks of any sort, it's that networking may be even more important than the actual music when it comes to getting paid. That lesson being said, my being interested in reptiles (as many of you can guess from my alias) resulted in me running into several people, including Camila Alli Chair, whom I knew at the time on deviantArt as Iguana-Teteia.
It turns out this woman not much older than I am is hard at work with making an animated series. Inspired heavily by Invader Zim, at least from what I gather, it reflects a universe in which dinosaurs are alive but are controlled by machines. This series-in-progress focuses primarily on a select few who, in a human's point of view, would be high school students.

My only regret with being involved with such a project is that Camila and most of the rest of the team and fans are Brazilian, and as such, it is expected to be made in Portugese. Fortunately, Camila and I have been able to speak in both English and Portugese (thank goodness for Google Translate!), and almost even had the chance to meet in person later this week, so it's not too much of a problem for me. However, I imagine it will be frustrating for many others who only understand English, such as much of the United States, especially given the official blog for the series is in Portugese.
Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to this project, especially given how big an Invader Zim fan I was in my childhood, and I hope it gains more recognition in the future when it airs.
